When did the parties start?

Special Children’s Christmas Parties have been running since 1998. Every year we work hard to make each regional event bigger and better, with new and exciting entertainment and toys. We couldn’t do it without the help of our generous sponsors.

Who are the parties for?

The parties are for children who experience the following:

- Life threatening illness

- Physical and intellectual impairment

- Domestic Violence

- Living in underprivileged circumstances

How do the children get invited?

We work closely with hundreds of charities, schools, community groups, and government organisations throughout New Zealand to find children to invtie.

If you know of anyone who could benefit from our parties, please contact us. We can advise you on all the organisations we work with to distribute invites.

Where are the parties held?

Our parties are held throughout New Zealand: Auckland, Waikato / Bay of Plenty, Hawkes Bay, Taranaki / Whanganui, Wellington, Christchurch.

What price do your sponsorship packages start at?

We have many sponsorship options available. Our sponsorship packages start at $300 + GST and include a variety of print and/or digital advertising benefits.

What does sponsorship money go towards?

You sponsorship money goes towards:

- Gifts for the children

- Venue Hire

- Entertainment

Is my sponsorship package tax deductible?

Our corporate sponsorship packages are classified as advertising you may be able to claim the full amount as a tax deduction.

Please speak to your accountant to confirm.

What kind of toys do the children receive?

We make sure each child receives 2-3 high quality toys, which includes a mix of educational and popular toys.

Every year, thanks to the sponsorship money we raise, we receive six 40-foot containers packed full of toys, it's an impressive sight!

Can I volunteer at the event?

Our volunteer spaces are typically reserved for the owners and employees of the companies and organisations that sponsor our events.

When you sponsor a Special Children’s Christmas Party it means we can make each event BIGGER and better! Most importantly, it means we can invite MORE children and make their day too.

We have a range of corporate sponsorship packages, starting at $300. Each sponsorship package comes complete with digital advertising through our media partner Stuff.co.nz, meaning your contribution will be publicly recognised across a number of Stuff.co.nz digital formats throughout New Zealand.

Our events are also highly publicised through television advertising, Facebook & Instagram posts and you are invited to attend as a volunteer, so you can see just how much your sponsorship means.
